Lida, Inc. Families in Crisis Fund

In an effort to support birthing Long Island families in “crisis”, LIDA, Inc is proud to announce we are offering free/discounted birthing services (i.e. doula, childbirth education, lactation support) for families experiencing one or more of the following:

  • the distress of a serious illness
  • death of a partner
  • single parent
  • teen mothers
  • postpartum depression (previous diagnosis or currently experiencing)
  • partner deployed (during birth or postpartum period)


who also have an accompanying financial hardship.

If you believe you or someone close to you is in ”crisis” and might qualify, please click here for application; upon receipt of the application, you will be contacted by phone for further information.
